Working at imc locations
From the candy bar in our Saarbrücken office, to a cooking culture in our Essen office, through to the weekly basket of fresh fruit for our Melbourne colleagues: Each imc office boasts its own special highlights – and our locations are also rather impressive. Whether you choose to wind down after hours over a chilled wheat beer with your colleagues in Munich, or to explore the countless sights in the historic old town of Graz, your work-life balance is always catered for.
Working in Saarbruecken
The imc headquarters – the largest location with around 160 employees – is full of hustle and bustle. This is where everything converges, where the strategy for the coming years are made. The well-stocked candy bar, the 4pm beer on Fridays and lunching at the university restaurant, bring variety into daily work routine. Saarbrücken also boasts a diverse cultural environment and is within easy reach of France and Luxembourg.
Working in Freiburg
Formerly a small imc branch, our creative team in Freiburg has grown continuously. In the innovative open space, our customised products and training courses are created. The office structure and atmosphere are not unlike that of a media agency and full of variety. The team ensures that the project business is fun: Table tennis, darts or barbecues at the end of the shift are always on the agenda in Freiburg. Surrounded by stunning nature begging to be explored on foot or by bike, Freiburg is invigorating.
Working in Munich
Right next to Theresienwiese (Yes, that’s the Octoberfest location), our Munich colleagues enjoy an excellent work and leisure environment. The Munich office is one of imc’s content and consulting heavyweights. The state capital of Bavaria is the perfect location for looking after our clients in the region south of the so-called Weißwurstäquator, the “white-sausage equatorial line” (a humorous term describing an imaginary border between Bavaria and the Northern parts of Germany). The recreational value of the nearby mountains is sky-high, and relaxation is guaranteed at Lake Garda and the many attractive Munich beer gardens.
Working in Essen
While Essen is our latest location in Germany, it does not lag in any respect. Home to the Content team, the office is bang in the trendy southern district in walking distance from the main train station. Essen also means “meal” in German – and our colleagues truly live up to that as eternal connoisseurs, alternating between lunch in one of the cult restaurants near the office and team cooking days.
Working in Graz | Austria
The capital of Styria is the imc base in Austria. As City of Design, Graz is one of the most dynamic creative locations in Europe. Naturally, this shapes the spirit of our charming Austrian colleagues. A diverse range of sights is waiting to be explored in the historic old town. Thrill seekers are equally well-catered for with numerous nearby ski slopes and mountain bike trails.
Working in Zurich | Switzerland
Whilst our Swiss office may be the smallest location in terms of employees, that does not stop us doing big business here. Our colleagues on the Sales team have the right tact and intuition to drive the continuous development of our network in Switzerland. Some of our consultants even count clients among their neighbours. In a city with a high quality of life, it’s easy to combine business and leisure. The Glatt Center across the road from the office offers exceptional lunch and after-hours shopping.
Working in Melbourne | Australia
In sunny Melbourne, our Australian colleagues distribute learning solutions “made in Germany”. The bright, open office – complete with chill-out area – is central but idyllic, surrounded by green spaces and water. Table-tennis, PlayStation, yoga sessions, fresh fruit, awesome coffee and Friday afternoon drinks are just some of the extras our colleagues share at work. Melbourne itself is never short on entertainment either: Formula 1, Grand Slam, cricket, jazz festival - you name it, Melbourne’s got it.
Working in Singapore
Our latest international location is an ideal starting point for taking on Asia. Our multicultural Sales and Project Management team in Singapore is particularly proud of their coffee and tea selection. The colleagues we sent out to visit the location have all confirmed this. On a sunny day, you cannot beat a stroll through the nearby “Gardens by the Bay”. The Sky Bar in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel offers refreshments and a breathtaking view of the city.
Working in Sibiu | Romania
The Romanian city of Sibiu is an important development and support location of imc. Enjoying a panorama view of the city from the office, our Sibiu team works hand in hand with our German colleagues to continuously improve our solutions. Great team spirit meets extensive exchange. Each working day starts over a coffee with the colleagues. Birthdays are often celebrated in the open space with cake and pizza.
Working in London | UK
Our London colleagues enjoy an excellent and central location near London Bridge and the world-famous Borough Market. The office roof terrace is the perfect space for squeezing in a quick training session in the sunshine. And that pays off: The full team toes the line in the company run, showing team spirit. The colleagues set a good example for starting the week on the right foot: With a Monday meeting over a hot chocolate in a Caravan restaurant.
